To Whom It May Concern:

This letter is to inform you that Martine Barrat is a photographer who has worked in the community since 1970 and was a personal friend of Mrs. Irene Mitchell for many years. Mrs. Mitchell was the great-grandmother of Richard, Adrian, Brandon and Shanikwa McMiller. Mrs. Mitchell was the legal guardian for the above named children. She was raising these children as well as their two cousins (Arriener O’Neal and Crystal Buhel"), Ms. Barrat helped Mrs. Mitchell with the children by taking them home with her on week-ends, after-school and any other time that she was needed. She would always stop by the day care center leave clothing, shoes and any other necessity for the children During these visits she would always spend time with the children. When Mrs. Mitchell passed away Ms. Barrat took on even more responsibility for the children because they were living with their father who was working. Ms. Barrat has alwavs shown concern and love for all of the children and was like a part of the family. She is now very concerned and worried for the welfare of the children. Ms. Barrat would like to be able to continue her relationship with the children. We hope that this letter will help Ms. Barrat to be able to get in touch with the children and to continue to be able to invite them for weekends and specifically this Christmas Holiday. she has always shown herself to be a loving, caring and responsible individual.
