GUERMA FAMILY
I was looking for them for years. Mamadou helped me find them. This family is from La Goutte d’Or and moved to Porte de Montreuil, where they are now living in a project and hope to move back to LA GOUTTE D'OR.
Mr. and Mrs. Guerma and their children, Tarick, Farida, Raima. They live in a 22 square meter home with their seven children. Mr. Guerma leaves at 7am and comes back late at night. He washes the dishes in a restaurant, “I can’t find a bigger place. They don’t want to give me the residence papers for my wife. They say, ‘without papers, no accommodation.’ My children were born in France. I fought at war for France for many years and I won several medals but still they do not want to give my wife papers to live in France with me.
